Risk and Disaster Management in the Amazon Graduate Program
The Professional Master's focuses on a demand induced by CAPES to PROPESP / UFPA. This demand is supported by the National Civil Defense Office / Ministry of National Integration and the Research and Development Policies and Programs Office - SEPED / MCTI. The Master's Program in Risk and Disaster Management in the Amazon is one of seven programs, which worked in a network, initially induced in the South (Federal University of Santa Catarina), Southeast (University of São Paulo and Universidade Federal Fluminense), Central West (Federal University of Goias and Federal University of Mato Grosso), Northeast (Federal University of Pernambuco). This course presents a grid of mandatory subjects common to all courses in the network, and a mandatory internship at the National Center for Monitoring and Natural Disaster Alerts - CEMADEN.
